About the 2018 SBGames

During the 7th semester of my Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design by the Anhembi Morumbi University, it was proposed by the professors that each student team should develop a paper based on the SBGames format as a demonstration for the undergraduate thesis, to be explored on the following semester.

On my thesis — and later on my paper —, I approached how the space significance occurs for the player in a tridimensional environment with freedom of movement on the Y axis, based on the spatial disposition presented by M. C. Escher in Relativity (1953).

Encouraged by teachers and advisors, I tried a publication by the SBGames, which was accepted and reached first place on the Arts & Design track. I received the notice when I was presenting my undergraduate work.

A year later, I received an invitation by the São Paulo Tech Week to minister a lecture on my paper at the Game Jam. The lecture recording can be seen below, in Portuguese:
